Diablo III - General Discussion Thread

I now have a choice, I can run Diablo 3 natively on the Macbook Pro in Mac OS X but raptr doesn't have a Mac OS applet. Alternatively I can install Diablo 3 on the Windows Bootcamp partition and have raptr track it... decisions, decisions.

I assume there's cross platform play?

I guess it depends how important Raptr is to you. Is there any kind of performance benefit?

Mac/PC isn't like PS3 and Xbox. Me and Eugene played together multiple times during the beta and I had it installed on Mac OS X.

Not really, I imagine it would run worse in windows since windows uses more memory than Mac OS X. Rarpt is really the only contributing factor.

I say install it in both then see which one you run more often :)

I only ever boot up windows to play the odd game, like Blacklight or Diablo 2 or KOTOR (which isn't often since most of my gaming takes place on Xbox or PS3) so yeah. I'll do that, the saves aren't local so there is no worry there.

My Raptr is so wrong is any case... 8 hours for +- 100 achievements?

There is nothing about the 80+ hours I clocked in SKyrim on there...

Lol! Murph had the same issue, mine is pretty up to date but it didn't tack any of the time I spent in TOR so yeah. Did you download the desk top app? that could be causing it.

Nah, just signed up and entered my PSN and Steam ID.

Looks like my Steam time is included (I just recently joined steam) so the 8 hours might be on the PC, but I can assure you my PS3 game time is much more... 80 hours Skyrim for me and 70 for my wife, then all the drunken Buzz! and complete weekends of MK9 battles... I take it my PS3 hours are missing... :(

Yeah Murph had that issue. Try installing the desktop app, somehow it helps with tracking console game time also (dont ask me how.)

Not too keen on Mac OS just really prefer Windows, but I suppose its a very biased decision.

Compared to Mac OS Windows is Shit. I hate windows, I only use it because the games I mentioned aren't Mac Compatible. But yeah it is a biased opionion, for both of us.

Looks like it's now downloading an additional 50mb

Edit: Cool I was able to watch the epic intro, and after that I get to stare at the epic log in screen :)
