Diablo III - General Discussion Thread

There's apparently major issues with Telkom causing latency. Heard it from a friend who said it's under discussion on the Diablo forums.

If possible, try switching to another ISP and trying again.

I am using Mweb via the Seacom cable..

Lol funny thing, after being over trying to get back into D3 I head over to HoN. Play one game then when I try to play another... can't... keep failing, trying to connect, etc. WTF is going on with games tonight :D
Off to BF3 I guess(holding thumbs this don't also break)

Edit: tried one last time and got past authentication :D but now it's hanging at Retrieving Hero list... -_-

I'll add my voice to the chorus of disappointment. Really sloppy Blizzard - almost like something Activision would pull off.... hmmmm.

You said it...

Why invest in servers to have a successful and reliable launch when you can save a few bucks by forcing your customers to wait until the excitement dies down to what your servers can manage.

I'm not overly stressed about it, but seriously, how the hell was Blizzard not adequately prepared for this?

Bad fail from Blizzard as they know how many copies they have sold so they should have know how much Server space they require.

Feel sorry for everyone who could not a least play a bit.
