Diablo III - General Discussion Thread

I've completed Inferno with my Wizard, Barb and Demon Hunter on softcore...
DH went fast, they make Barbs look good in public games.

That's very impressive! Sheesh.

I haven't even finished inferno at all yet. This whole week I farmed for Leoric's Signet and I can tell you that I do not have the patience for that. I think my next step is to just try and finish inferno. I've got about 1.8 million gold to spend on gear so that should make for some good enough items, combined with what I currently have.

How do you farm for a specific item? Is there a probability map that shows where you're likely to find certain items?
 
1.0.5 is coming out tomorrow!

We will be performing scheduled maintenance for Diablo III starting tomorrow at 3:00 a.m. CEST in order to deploy patch 1.0.5. We anticipate that maintenance will conclude and that all services will be available by approximately 13:00 CEST.

Important: Please note that you will not be prompted to download patch 1.0.5 until the patch is live in your home region. If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed. Additionally, if your home region is The Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 1.0.5 is live until those regions have also patched.

For reference, here are the scheduled maintenance times for each region:

The Americas: 12:00 p.m. CEST (10/16) to 10:00 p.m. CEST (10/16)
Europe: 3:00 am CEST to 13:00 CEST (10/17)
Asia: 10:00 p.m. CEST (10/17) to 8:00 a.m. CEST (10/18)

How do you guys like the Monster Power level system? Only played for 15mins or so last night, and I was kinda raped in Act 1 on MP4 :wtf:
 
I played my barbarian coop with a monk, act2 mp2 and it went alright, except for maybe one unit type that did a load of damage. Found my first set piece in almost 300hrs of play, Immortal Kings 2 handed weapon. So stoked!

Got the same problem. Everyone picked up such amazing legendaries over the last two days and both days I had to work late and got only a little game time.

Managed to find two of the keys though. A question that I have and will probably have to go google, if you kill the bosses in the infernal machine are the materials for the Hellfire ring guaranteed drops? If not, what are the chances.

If it's not a guaranteed drop then it's going to take forever to get one of the rings.
