Diablo III refund refusal leads to Blizzard office raid

Before yesterday it was 5 hours 13minutes so i would say around 6-7 hours now

And is your low game hours completely due to network outage on the part of the Blizzard service?

And yes if you only get 1 or 2 hours a night to game then not being able to play the game you paid for is a pain, however like I said before there is some bigger issue behind this and Wyvs mention of further hacking leads me to believe that there are serious issues underlying the not being able to get in & I suspect it has more to do with people that Blizzards servers.

Honestly I think Blizz should just take the game offline for the next 48 hours and see if they can sort this out.
I am now seriously pissed about this and so are thousands of other gamers. Everytime they "fix" something it breaks something else..now apparently there is a achievement problem lol not to mention the constant security issues.

How can they want to implement a RMAH with such horse ass Security?
No one will ever spend real cash with serious security issues.

I change my PW at least once a day..I also play the game on 3G because my IP changes every time I turn it off and back on again. I also have spybot search and destroy running 24/7 and scans at regular times.

Honestly Bizzard fucked up in the most amazing way I have ever seen, not only did they force us to pay a premium for a what is technically a single player game but they can't seem to keep the servers up for more than a day.

Also please don't comment "They didn't force you to do something" because they did.

They charged a premium for the most anticipated game of the decade and it is completely fucked now when people are starting to ask for a refund, they get told its not part of their policy to give refunds??? xD

It wouldn't surprise me if some basement dwelling teenager gets a gun and goes apeshit on them.

(Yes I know I posted in the Diablo III thread already, Just wanted to make my feelings on the matter known xD)

Hmm, I guess saying "yeah we got hacked" would hurt the prospect of the RMAH which may be why they are so quiet, I actually wonder if the RMAH might scrapped if they cant get this issue under control.

Being in an optimistic mood due to my 4 day weekend I want to believe that there hasn't been press releases or much in way of communication from Blizzard because they are focusing solely on fixing the issue.

But who knows.

I have a suspicion that is the case, they really want the RMAH out there, but if accounts are hacked - go google it seems like there was a wave of hacks on the 20th of May as well - mostly US side tho. A lot of the accounts hacked there had authenticators as well. I have spoken with a few people via pm on the forums and so far none of us has found any key loggers and so forth on out pc's.

After finishing the game last night I ran Malwarebytes and Spybot plus antivirus scans in safe mode. This morning I had a pc with a clean bill of health. So I would love to know how they got the details. Since it seems Blizz is pointing fingers at the community for not being safe. I mean I had a wow account for over 7 years - not one hack, D3 over 2 weeks and I have been hacked . . . I also know it was an asian dude who hacked the account. I took screenies of the ppl I supposedly played multiplayer with recently. Since I have only joined one public game and that was to give one of the myg guys gear, I didnt have strangers on my recent list - until last night.

I for one have always been dead set against the RMAH, simply because if they couldnt keep hackers out of a online game like wow and control the AH on there, why wouldnt someone decide to go and steal as much gear as possible to sell on the RMAH instead of farming for it like us.

Just to add to the hacking conspiracy, your Battle.net password is actually not case sensitive. Added security risk with blizzard games.

That public game you joined is probably how they got in. When the hacking things first surfaced they where saying that people would join public games and that some ID or something providing a loophole.

That is password security 101 FFS.

WOW (no pun intended) that is bad. I just confirmed it's not case sensitive on the battle.net website. When did Blizzard become this sloppy?

Omega I thought you knew about the non casesensitive passwords . . .

Yea I suspect that is how they got my details. Ag wat, its a game, no real physical damage was done. Im just moerig more about Blizz way of handling the affair than anything else.

Nope, I use an Alpha numeric case focused password. I am considering adding symbols now.

Well I just posted this on their forum, not that it'll ever get noticed...

Your first response:

If youve been hacked youve failed in keeping your details secure.plenty of guides around on how to do it i suggest you follow them.
If blizz was hacked and customer detail's Stolen they are legally required to report it, This has not happened so clearly it's not their end. Indeed they have even said the number of acc's compromised is within the usual numbers for the number of folks playing.

Stop blaming blizz and own up to your own mistake

Just keep in mind that if you want to get past error 37 you need to be able to type your password quickly :D (you can actually paste as well I've heard).

Oh ppl saw it, they are as usual saying it is us not Blizz :) I have given up on the fact that it doesnt help

I saw Diablo 3 being sold for R550 in the shops, yet I bought it for R448 from ZAPS. I'm certain its our local retailers/importers setting the prices.

How is it possible that in the States they are selling Skyrim for $59.99 (which is the same price as D3), yet here the prices have been dropped to R350?
