Diablo III release date finally announced

I have the CE Pre-ordered at Game, signed up for Notification at Amazon and have the standard edition Pre-ordered at Amazon. Roll on.
 
It's taken long enough!!! I just hope that they don't go throwing in more delays again because they wanna tweak it here and there... :rolleyes:
 
Well one thing about Blizz is when they announce a date then that is it. It's also the reason why they always announce dates considerably later than most other studios.

I was checking that about, then I browsed over to the StarCraft 2 section, online its £32, on Amazon its £26. So I bought it off amazon. This is what companies need to learn from Apple, if your going to have digital and analogue distribution make it cheaper over digital than regular otherwise there is no point.

The difference is Apple doesn't 'make it cheaper', they make other stuff more expensive by including a 30% cut and then having contracts that prohibit you from selling it cheaper anywhere else.

Well my experience with buying the iWorks suit off of the App store instead of Amazon or the apple store was that off of the apple store it cost me £42 where as on Amazon its: £100 and at the Apple Store its like £72. If Digitally distributed games adapted the same model then most of us would stop buying instore and buy it direct. Like with steam, its often cheaper to buy off of steam than to buy a physical copy.
 
so now I can finally have my CE which I got using my discount voucher paying only R 470.00* :)


*Technically it is R570, since it was pay R100 for R200 voucher.
 
No offline play shifted D3 from my must have list to my I'll get it later at some stage list.

Pffft.... Exams smexams.... and besides it's on the 15th... that's perfect. You don't have to worry about Diablo messing with your studies coz when you done writingg you go home and reward yourself.
