DICE Has at Least 15 Frostbite Games in Development

Battlefield developer DICE has confirmed that there are over 15 Frostbite games in development.

That's according to Frostbite technical director Johan Andersson, who made the revelation when responding to a fan's question on Twitter about 'Mantle', an Application Programming Language.

The upcoming games we know will make use of the Frostbite engine aside from Battlefield 4 are Need for Speed Rivals, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Mirror's Edge 2, Star Wars: Battlefront and the Next Mass Effect title.

Seeing as the developer recently mentioned it's already thinking about what to do for Battlefield 5, along with the continuing hints that Bad Company will one day return as it's too good to kill, we can assume they may take up another two slots on the list.

eh what? Pretty sure its an API. IGN is off on that front imo.

OP...cutting it kinda close on that title. To be clear DICE is providing their engine to other game studios...DICE isn't actually developing 15 titles.

Ignoring the above...solid announcement. They'll have to keep going though...15 isn't going to stick long term.
