DICE upgrades Battlefield 4 servers

no i think it means all of us local and international because gameservers is based in capetown if i'm not mistaken. also i saw an origin update this morning before i came to work any ideas on what was added?

Gameservers is only if you rent a server, most of us use MWEB's servers, which are servers that they build so I doubt DICE will have a say in the hardware... But would be interesting to find out.

As far as i know mweb also rents those servers from gameservers because they are the only ones that got a deal from BF/Dice/EA

Oh ok cool. They host the servers though... I would really like to know the extent of the upgrade, if this was the case with the MWEB / Gameservers servers. (e.g. did they up the RAM, or was more done)

Now you see, I do not believe that...

If Dice had to upgrade all hardware on all servers, this would cost them Millions (yes you can say that they made that much, but they wouldn't).

Personally I think this would be something like a VM, running too little RAM, and gameservers would have been told to upgrade all 64slot servers to have more RAM. They are very sketchy about the details, and in no forum or blog post do they reply with the actual upgrade steps taken.
