Different Mouse grips explained

Sweetness. I have an A4Tech x7, dirt cheap gaming mouse, and well worth it(even though it was outside my budget of no more than R60 for a piece of peripheral.)

Also, might be useful knowledge oneday, to know which mouse to REALLY choose

Razer has a guide ontheir website that explains grip methods and mice shapes to suit each
Should be worthwile looking at if you are interested in this type of thing

Excellent video. +rep Haha and I liked the bit at the end about the Apple mouse. :)

I use a fingertip grip and I've tried to use the palm grip but I have no idea how people can use a mouse like that. I currently have a big mouse (got it for free from Microsoft. thank MS!) and it makes my hand tired very quickly. One day I'll get a nice small mouse.

Bought a Pretigio Racer mouse about 2 years ago, I think, served me well for a good few months, and its grip is nicely 'dented' into the mouse, allowing for greater grip. However, its size is becoming a problem (really small for my big(ish) hand), and every now and again middle-mouse stops working. I love it though.. Until I eventually get my Razer mouse:)

Just signed up to say I really appreciated you taking the time to make this video, was very useful.

Might be a bit late but I stumbled across this page when looking at grip types, I've been an avid gamer (pro once before I got older and lazier) for over 15-20 years (if you can count the old classics like Doom without mouse look and further back to Commodore 64's and Spectrums) and I've never even known there were actual grip types, I've used all of them depending on the mouse I had at the time.

Have a non healed break in my wrist at the moment that cannot be rectified any time soon so am now using a fingertip grip on a Cyborg R.A.T. 9 (great mouse but the back and forward buttons are terrible, wore them out in less than year, heavy usage mind you) to the point where one snapped off, currently seeking an RMA, looking at trying a Naga epic for MMO usage and sticking with a hopefully replaced R.A.T. 9 for FPS.
