Digital cameras - need some help

Inevitability

New member
I need advice from someone who knows about digital cameras.
I've done some Googling and came up with some options of what to buy, but then one of my friends threw in a few more options and now iIm a bit lost again.

I want a good camera for under R2000.
My requirements are :
1) good picture quality (colour, sharpness, speed, image stabilisation)
2) good HD video
3) good features

i don't care about:
1) weight
2) design/ looks
3) LCD quality / touch screen

My original options were : Nikon S4000 and Fuji S1800

Fuji looked the better, so i was reasonable happy that i was gonna go with that.
But then a friend sent me an email with Makro special and there's the Nikon L110 and the Nikon S8000 at R1999.

So now I'm confused again.

Can anyone help me??!!

Which of these cameras is the best, and is there maybe another camera out there under R2000 that's even better?

Well seeing as the Fuji is a big one skip that since well you don't seem to be a photographer and well carrying such a large camera around sucks.

I would recommend this one. We got a similar one to this.

http://www.sony.co.za/product/dsc-w350 ps just cycle the colors its on pink atm.

Its a bit more expensive but it has awesome freaking quality, Or the nikon S4000 is pretty sweet tried that out at makro.

Lithium ION Battery Check for Cameras that got this type of battery you wont be sorry.

Canon in my opinion. Best camera.

Look at any major sporting event. All those white lenses are Canon and they outnumber the rest by lots.
