Remote where? You can control the desktop from the phone app, you must just first start playing on the desktop and then log in with your phone and it will tell you it is already playing "somewhere else" and then you can change the songs or force it to play on your phone etc. This also implies you can't share your account with your buddies and have them play on their PCs, can only play from one place.

I normally use bluetooth of my TV/HiFi/Blueray (and Car) system , this is the simplest. You connect with bluetooth to whichever device and well just play. This is how i drive to work, on my phone the radio controls (forward/backward etc) also control the app itself, so i don't even have to be physically on my phone.

Anyhow, the phone app can do everything the desktop app can do.

This is exactly what i was asking! Just moved house so my home PC is still packed away somewhere, but i need to get it up and running and get it working with my phone!
 
The ui is still very plain but will see if it will let me post a screenie and i'll drop it here there are mentions of streaming so that you can play your friends shared libs. Also still buggy as hell i think if you have a too big lib atm it bombs out

Awesome man! Looks nice and clean... But from what you say it sounds as if, So far, its just a player? You load your own music in? Or can you DL music?

Streaming music off a mates computer would be pretty cool, but im not sure how they would get around that legally...
 
Well it's kinda like the game sharing function i think, and so far you load your own music. I haven't seen the option to DL music yet but as they said it's beta so a lot can still happen
