Discounted FNB Uncapped coming soon

Seems like FNB will be offering its customers discounts on uncapped ADSL. The still need to publish the pricing level and service details, but it seems you can get up to 100% discount if you're on Platinum level and up to 80% on Gold. Just wonder how much shaping / throttling there will be. The standard free account I've been getting from them is not bad.

On my current status I'd be able to get 80% discount, but I'm working towards building my status up again to the top earning tier. Just waiting to see the updated points criteria.

I'll keep this thread updated. I'm watching FNB's news like a hawk. They should be releasing their annual rate changes and eBucks point changes within the next few days which is actually what I'm interested in.

The free data that i have received works great for me. i have had to use it every time my axxess takes a nap.

would love to see what they will ask for it.

Just to update, FNB has released their annual price and eBucks policy reviews.

I still can't get details with regards to their Uncapped offering. I think it will only be available from August, but based on the information available to me from those sites, it seems that the standard price for uncapped will be R400.

Thus depending on your eBucks earn level, you should pay:
Level 1 = 10% discount = R360
Level 2 = 20% discount = R320
Level 3 = 40% discount = R240
Level 4 = 80% discount = R 80
Level 5 = Free

The only question is with regards to the quality. Speed, shaping, throttling, etc. Ok, so there are quite a few questions I suppose.
Will post updates as soon as I have them.
