Disturbing scenes in games

In half life I scream everytime those things that stick to the roof pull me up with their tongs... And the 3 or 4 big fishes in the water :eek:
 
Misleading thread title... Most of the things you guys describe are scary but not really disturbing. Disturbing is seeing something highly controversial in society which takes a stab at morality... not something that makes you skrik boeglam for a couple of secs. lol
Bonecraft is disturbing like that lol.

Ahh..... Yes but we started off with disturbing scenes... (I.e bioshock 2 ending) SO I geuss we derailed the thread :P
 
Resident Evil also always made me pee my pants, especially when you hear the zombies chow on something and can't see it!! :eek:
 
Yeah so I'm never ever ever ever trying to play Amnesia ever again. Tried it over the weekend and I may have destroyed my pants. Great mentions in this thread, but nothing is more disturbing than those grim dungeon scenes Amnesia is full of.

Tried playing Silent Hill on the PS2 back in the day.. needless to say after 2 heart attacks I stopped playing! :rolleyes:
 
Alone in the Dark had some pretty disturbing scenes back in the day. Used to creep me out big time.

And then there was a game (can't remember name) that was filled with HR Geiger style textures - THAT was disturbing

Agreed whether you liked it or not it was a brilliant stage. Man now that I think back... The single player games I loved the most was that of the cod mw series. Each game had such standout moments. MW1 with that nuke. MW2 the betrayal and burning alive of you and ghost. MW3 death of soap.

my favourite stage out of all the COD's is MW1 Death from Above :D
