Assassin's Creed IV DLC is exclusive to PlayStation.

I am a PlayStation games and will always stay one. I do not own an Xbox and will unfortunately never own one unless I win an Xbox 360 or Xbox One in a competition. I am a PS fanboy and love getting exclusive stuff. :-)

That said, even though I think that it is absolutely awesome that us PS users get exclusive content, I feel it is unfair towards the gaming community in general that a developer singles out one platform/console to deliver exclusive content on.

Case in point the batman franchise. We got exclusive content that Xbox users didn't get.

I am all for great and new content but I feel it is not right that Xbox users pay the same price for the products and get less than other users like e.g. PS users.

I get that there are exclusive titles that only get released on certain consoles but every console has it's exclusives, but when it comes to multi-platform games, I feel that exclusive content should be made available to all users alike. It ensures that every gamer get the same experience they paid for regardless of the console/platform they play it on.

Just a thought. ;)

Total BS, different to exclusives per platform, but multiplat games with exclusive DLC is just wrong!

I voted no, I know the CoD DLC usually gets launched on the Xbox but then it gets shipped to the other platforms which is fair and offers some 'exclusivity'

I agree with DLC as long as it is free and/or used for updates/patches, but having paid DLC for stuff which should have been in the game in the first place when you bought it is a no, no.

I also don't mind exclusiveness of them as long as they free and doesn't affect the games for people who don't have the means to get the dlc.

That was one of the things that irked me to no end. Why would my friends with Xbox's get the new dlc for BO2 before I get my PS3 maps. I didn't like it. If it was a few days or a week before me then that would be cool but a whole month? sho. The wait was always unbearable. :)

True. And then there's the issue of on-disc DLC. Ish. That irks me to no end as it is content you already paid for that is on the retail disc and now you have to pay for it again just to have access to it. Grrr.

I don't mind free exclusives to platforms. Esp when the OEM pay for the development of said exclusive content. It makes business sence for companies to use such a system to promote their products.

What erks me is when you have paid for exclusives like Burnout Paradise that had paid for content on consoles that was never released to PC. Its like the developers are saying no thanx we don't want your money.

Then again, I wish we can go back to the day's when they allowed mod's and gave free content in updates.

Yeah. The reason I'm looking at re-entering the PC gaming scene is because of mods. You don't get that on console. I made mods for loads of games back in the day i miss that. Look at Skyrim, the amount of great mods available to PC users are amazing. None for console.

Ye I hate having to pay for access it should be free once you buy the console and games.
