Do you choose Good or Bad in moral choice games?

I play bad the first time then if the game is good i will be a good on my second run.
The immoral choices always lead to better gameplay.

Usually end up playing a "good" character, then after a while, I'll revert to playing as an "evil" character. Sometimes I'll just do whatever the hell I want and stay neutral.

I always choose good, I really struggle making bad choices! Even when I start a play through for a bad character I end up making good choices again :o...

I personally always like to see a game end with a 'happy ending'. Same with a movie, whenever it doesn't end with a happy ending it just doesn't feel right... But I am of course curious to see how the 'bad story' would end up. :D

I usually choose what gives me the best advantages. For example the 1st time I played Fallout 3, I did everything I could for the people of megaton untill they became useless, than I went to tenpenny tower and blew up megaton. Than I killed everyone in Tenpenny tower and took all the loot to help the guys in the next town.

So how do you guys play?

I've often had friends tell me there is something wrong with me, when it comes to that aspect of gaming.

Most often, I play evil first - as it allows more exploitation of the environment without unwanted effects.
If the game was good, I go back and play good.

Then, and it doesn't happen often, a game allows me to "unleash the beast".

Prime example:
Black and White (The first one).
Right off the start there is a "quest" or objective.
You need to obtain three totem-pole-stone-thingies.
One of these stones are inside a village-woman's house.
Her brother is missing. He is also deathly ill. If you find him and bring him back to her, she will give you the stone.

The good way is to go fetch the brother and re-unite the two.
The bad way is to smash the house open and take the stone.

My way?
Break the house. Take the stone. Kill woman with stone.
Pick up dead woman and find ill brother. He is on a cliff by some trees.
Drop dead woman in front of him.
"Oh! My sister! I can't continue living!" - jumps off cliff...
...continue to snicker and go put stone on totempole.

I love when a game unleashes some creativity into the whole dark side. Simply killing everything for no reason gets stale, unless you can do it creatively!

When i play games with moral choices i usually go the good route the first time or what i percieve to be good, it does get blurry at times and a bad decision creeps in, but what can you do... Life isnt perfect and anyway you always have a 2nd playthrough for being bad.

I try to do the evil thing :)
But most of the time it comes down to what im getting out of the deal!
Lol im selfish like that!
Which ever side provides the best bonus/compensation will get my services :)

Usually I would play a game whichever I feel gives me the best advantages the first time, whether I then end up with a good, bad or neutral character. If the game was good enough to warrant a couple of extra play throughs, I try to give it a shot at both just good, and just bad the next times around.

I always go the good route. Can't get myself to be bad. I try to do bad in second playthroughs, but end up being good in the end lol.

I tend to play a game twice.
Once as a good guy and then I go back and be all bad.
Except for Dungeon Keeper , there I was bad all the time (Remember , its good to be bad ;) )

I like playing "evil" characters who make good moral choices and perform good deeds (i.e. a lawful good Drow or, what I'm considering in Old Republic, a Sith Inquisitor with a soft heart :p).

I've tried being evil characters before in games like KotOR, Jade Empire, etc but I find it impossible. I regret my decisions and feel ridiculously guilty :p

Love being good :o

Haha! I always play the good side as well. I can never bring myself to be bad, but it does sound quite fun to feel innocently guilty! :D I should give that a try.

I normally go good, but I do also take a few bad options depending on how I feel the character would react to the situation.

I look into the pro's and con's of either side for the character and then play whichever appeals to me. Then the 2nd run through / 2nd character I will choose the opposite.

1. First playthrough I play the choices I personally would make whether its good or bad, genereally slated more to good but not all out good.
2. Second playthrough bad guy/girl.
3.Goody two shoes character.
