Apogee was only the publisher of Commander Keen. id Software was the development studio.

This was one of the best Win 95/98 games!! 
I remember playing this at my moms office when I was a kid with an old 1.4Mb Stiffy (and no not the type you youngsters are thinking of with your filthy minds), I'm talking about something that was the equivalent of a CD back then just not as posh. 
Oh and not forgetting how many times you had to keep backups of your games on various hard drives, due to the amount of times your Disk would get scratched from sitting in your school back and would then become corrupt.

Whaaa? Commander Keen was a DOS based title, not Win9x.
Sheesh, youngsters.

Yeh I realize that chop, but you forget that those versions of windows actually had DOS!!
#facepalmIf you knew the commands it was simple to access the game, or you browsed to the directory on the stiffy drive and opened the .bat file.

Would be playing the current version of Commander Keen. Then hear somewhere that the newest version is coming out soon. Very soon. Someone knew someone who heard from a friend who spoke to someone who had seen the new version...
