Do you use Linux at home?

I use Linux/Unix like operating systems quite a bit at home and at work and would like to open the floor to questions around Linux/Unix like operating systems. I also want to know what you're running.

I tried Linux Mint once a couple of years ago and decided it's not my cup of tea. Microsoft has helped me a lot in my life so in respect I'll stick with them. Windows computers, Windows phone, XBox One, Windows Server etc.

I actually use Rasbian (on my Pi), SteamOS on my personal laptop, Ubuntu with Kodi on my media centre, OEL on almost everything at work and some FreeBSD systems for the very specific workloads.

I used to have a dual boot of windows and Kubuntu. Used Kubuntu a lot at first but slowly logged into it less and less since all my gaming was on my windows side.

Nope, I despise Linux. Every time I install it, it feels like running into a brick wall repeatedly for any little thing I want to do. Then I hate myself for even trying it and go back to windows.

im running mint and kubuntu on my one machine atm, just to keep current with the os and improving my skill set, i cant stand the unity interface of the vanilla ubuntu installs.

linux has improved alot over the years a linux install is as easy as a windows install these days.

I still have a copy of corel linux somewhere (that was the first user friendly linux imo, probably cause MS help build it "whistling

You must try Scientific Linux or Fedora. I really like GNOME and I find the overall usability of Fedora/RedHat based variants better for customization and control. Don't get me wrong, Debian based like Ubuntu is great until you want to fiddle with the nitty gritty stuff under the hood.

I use Raspbian on my Pi's, and I've got a laptop running Ubuntu as a media/home/download server. I'm going to try and also make it a compiling server for Android projects, when I get around to it.

Nope. Used to use Unix at work on a couple of servers, but I'm not at that work anymore. Back to pure Windows environments for me it seems... Until I can find a reason to install Linux of Unix somewhere.
