I agree...If I look at the majority of guys that i see "competitively gaming" they don't seem to have fun unless they're winning. Therefore in order to have fun more than 50% of the time you need to be better than average in the gaming world. So does that mean that 50% of competitive gamers are just not having fun? Wow, this was a weird late night ramble...
Anyhow, I haven't played starcraft 2 in so long because I just couldn't put in the time to compete in the leagues against guys practicing strats...thats why I stick to my RPGs. :-D
I definitely suck (big time) at StarCraft 2, yet I still definitely had plenty of fun playing online. I can imagine that if you take it too seriously that you'd eventually resort to such measures as blaming the game for not being fun or fair or just plain sucky, instead of blaming yourself for being he who sucketh much and didn't learn to have fun.
