Does support for AMD CrossfireX mean support for nVidia SLI?

So I'm thinking of upgrading my CPU and motherboard from ye olde i5 750 and lga1156 to an i5 3570K I've sort of decided on a Motherboard(this one www.takealot.com/electronics/pc-com...z68ap-d3-socket-lga-1155-motherboard,10794947 ) I have a nVidia GTX560 Ti and later I want to be able to just buy another one instead of getting a whole new card. Now I do know that the motherboard at the top does have support for CrossfireX but I dont know if that means it will support two nVidia cards.

Also if someone can give me a website at which(must be an SA one) Ill get cheaper prices for PC hardware than at TAKEALOT.com that would be nice too.

Thanx man, I really don't know much about Motherboards so that's a great help, the thing is that, that particular board is sold out it seems, anything else you could recommend or do you think theyll get stock sometime soon?

They'll have stock soon. Just drop them a email.

Just because it says it has support for Crossfire doesn't mean it will have support for SLI, you need to double check this, if it doesn't specifically say it supports SLI then it doesn't.

www.rebeltech.co.za is generally the cheapest place to get Pc hardware other than going to Esquire or a different supplier.

I can tell you for a fact though that motherboard doesn't support SLI.

You can also look at this motherboard here if you are looking something cheap and in stock, unfortunately it also doesn't support SLI: MSI Z77A-G43, LGA1155, Intel Z77 - R1,162.00

If you need SLI then wait for the AsRock motherboards to get in stock again, they are the best value for money and support SLI.
