DONT Pre-Order BFBC2 from Zaps....... Rather go to Take 2 or BT Games!!

As much as i hate to say it Rick was right again, Zaps, want you to pre-order the game. Pay for it. without you test driving the product in this case without giving you a Beta key.
Apparently they only give you a Beta Key after your order is finalised and paid. WTF? i havent played the demo yet, i might hate it.

They say on there website free delivery but then you have this girl called Games Bonita tell you in your confirmation email that delivery cost so and so.
Its like the people who is selling you the product, they trying to con you. I was suppose to ask Bonita Did the supplier who is selling you those games have a gun to your head? cause yous got Robbed but yous aint robbing me. I Got my Beta key at Take2 without paying. I first test drive and then i confirm whether i like or not and if im paying for it or not.

I Never knew free delivery on Pre-orders which is stated on there website comes with a price tag. I Must really be blind surfing the internet :/ Told them ima expose them and there bad services.

Sorry that you are so upset by this daBoss but we are just following EA's instructions.
Also we have only been issued with a limited amount of beta codes - so obviously we can not just give them out to every body who asks.

There is also a differance between a demo and a beta - these are beta keys and not a one level demo of the game.

I know Bonita has apologized already to you about her slip up with the delivery charge - it was not intentional as you are suggesting she has personaly nothing to gain in this and was resolved in about 5 minutes.
 
Take2 shouldn't have given you a beta key. As far as I'm aware, the BF2 beta is a preorder exclusive - if you're not preordering, you shouldn't be getting a beta key. Basically, you've stolen a beta key from a legitimate customer.

erm everyone else who buys the game there gets the Beta Key before they get to pay for the game, infact check this out........ i call this very good service read this at the bottom.. infact this is how u make money. Just for them giving me such great service i will demo the game tomorrow and i will buy it too i bet!

but then u have them other guys who cant even keep to there word that u get free delivery, R They Drunk At Work? i already told half the gaming community to go buy there and not at zaps. I Hope someone loose there job over such stupidity.and then u have ppl who still dont believe the customer is always right, i mean zaps is a customer to there supplier, do they only have one supplier? cant they compromise?BT games same story. Confirmed today with a few other online gamers :)

Back Story The battle for Port Valdez is fought alongside the waterline towards a great oil industrial landscape in the Alaskan mountains. In their arsenal there are Main Battle Tanks as well as fast-moving Quad Bikes and mobile armored AA. It's a vehicle focused battle, but with plenty of infantry combat.

Pretty much what miss MooDy and miss Azimuth said. Besides here you have a ZAPS representative personally responding to your feud within 2 hours. How does that translate to crappy service?

We all paid for our Beta keys dude. Take2 charges an additional R35 for postage as well. Hopefully you won't be this snotty on the BF: BC2 servers when it goes live.

Well i was just a messenger spend your money wisely ladies & gents Hate it or Love, it this is the Truth go to BT Games or Take 2 and see if im lying. You see the liars is in your mids and they still want to tell you 1 stage stories I say to this LIES! when u get a mail that tell you exactly wot u getting from the beta and once again with the "Key"
 
daboss - You are what, about 14? Do us all a favor kid and go play in the traffic.

You don't just get a beta key, you pre order the game, thus paying for it, and then you get the key, you twit.

Myself and many other individuals on this site can vouch for Zaps and the outstanding service they provide, so take your immature comments and GTFO. This is by no means Zaps fault.

Take your money to take 2 then and pay the R30 delivery fee, but if I were you I would save the money all together and put it towards a new attitude cause the current one you have sucks.
 
Loads of sites make you pay in full on a preorder. A preorder is just a regular order made in advance of the item's availability. Nobody's lying, there are simply different business models here.

God. There's really nothing quite so insufferably sanctimonious as someone who thinks he's sticking it to the system. *rolls eyes*
 
Take 2 probably have a deal with EA that is way they have a seemingly unlimited supply of keys.
 
So let me get this straight you all payed for your preorder for bf2 bc2 already? and thats how you got a beta key? this is @ take2.

I have only heard good things about zaps I don't shop there personally since I don't like the layout, and if that lady admitted to making a mistake its no reason to go overboard with it.
You could have ask them to cancel your preorder and let them add on there website that the beta key's are finished(not good business sense but good customer sense.)

And pre-order it from someplace else. Or contacted them first before placing your preorder to make sure you get a beta key.
 
Really daBoss - is there any need for remarks such as "liars" and insinuating that we are trying to con people.
Bonita made a mistake,apologized to you and agreed that this was a free delivery item within 5 minutes.
Nobody will be losing there job over this and I stand by -other forum members have confirmed - the decision not to issue you with a Beta code.

I agree about the layout being bad. I dont know wtf is going on in their store...So I stick to take2's simple layout
 
Let's not continue to drag the good name of a company through the mud over an issue that was clearly a misunderstanding, especially one that Zaps apologised for and rectified.

As far as I can tell the problem has been resolved. If anyone has further issues with this topic feel free to PM me.
