Hey Chaps and Chappettes,

Found an awesome little indie game this weekend, still in beta but you can pre-purchase on their site and update the forums etc on your findings. Reminds me alot of Minecraft where im sure the developer got his inspiration. However it kept me hooked for about a solid 2 hours yesterday.

I got to Day 26 on my first try. $12 on Steam.

This does have the feeling of minecraft to think it will be a nice game to play if you want to brake away from the other titles. will give it a try

Who is actually playing don't starve? I'm struggling to wrap my head around this game. I seem to reach a plato after about 10-15 days, and then I either die because of a stupid treant that I don't know how to kill or I die of boredom:wtf:

My last game was quite well advanced (no idea how many days). But I can't load it after a few updates...so now I have to restart -.-

Also, do you guys know that you can use your game's Steam key to get a free copy on Chrome? Just visit http://www.dontstarvegame.com/ and activate it there -no idea where, haven't done it yet:) (not sure I'll play it on both Chrome and Steam though)...

I still play it every now and then, but I'll probably leave it after I die again. I think it will be too frustrating to start over again. I really like the gameplay, but the permadeath is annoying when you get killed for some silly reason.

I still fight through it every now and again. but it seems the only way I survive long enough to gain decent xp is when I play a custom game with no night time and no monsters :rolleyes:

Yeah, I was thinking about doing the same, but it felt like cheating:wtf:

That brain-thing on the top right that drains with your health and hunger is getting me under. I can't keep it up :confused:

It's your sanity. Using the science machine and picking flowers will restore it.
