Doom 3: BFG Edition review (MyGaming)

Prophet, you forgot the new checkpoint saving system that is supposed to make the gameplay experience 'smoother.'

Because having to replay ten minutes of a game because you died is such a smoothe gameplay experience.

No need to wait for bfg ripoff for quake4 just use sikkmod "whistling:

 
I am seriously thinking about downloading the sikkodd and gtx for quake 4. I just finished doom 3 with those mods and it was fantastic.

It really makes an awesome difference AND Q4 is smp (multi core rendering) aware so it will run better with the mod + textures than D3.

Doom 3 ran perfectly I must admit didn't notice any lag. But I actually preferred quake 4.
 
Was playing original Doom 3 when my GT6600 went up in smoke - never got around to finishing it. Must get this BFG Edition & try again :D

As Prophet said , do not buy it. I played it and it was pretty crap (except doom1&2 of course).
