The price hasn't changed on steam since they rand did its major tanking. New releases for bethesda have been set to R800. Other companies are actually charging less for new games in South Africa, don't know why Bethesda charge so much more.
 
Bethesda are fucking nuts, R800 on steam? Just like Fallout 4...

I really want the game but there is no way in hell that I'll pay R800 for a pc game.
Tomb Raider was R450 on steam pre order.
Hitman is R499 on steam pre order.

Where they fall out with their R800 price God only knows.

Yeah I noticed this crap with Fallout 4, everything got cheaper except Bethesda games, moering through the roof.
 
Bethesda is milking "desperate to play the game" customers. Game looks good, but I'll be ****ed if I'm paying over R600-700 for a PC release. It will be cheaper at some point.

Be that as it may, it's still fucking expensive. Fallout 4 is R600 retail and R800 steam. Who's to say Dark Souls (and other games) won't also be more expensive on steam?

It could still be cheaper on steam (and I hope it is), but I doubt it. I really don't want to pay R900 for a PC game, but for Dark Souls I will if there is no cheaper option (I want a physical copy for my collection).

It seems the best way to buy games these days is to wait for a digital sale. I picked up Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY for R360 on PSN Thursday.

This sucks so bad.....Doom comes out on the 13th and I have my first international trip to Sweden planned for the following week from the 16th to the 20th. NOOOO!!!!! :cry:

Those covers though....awesome!

I'll do the Sweden trip for you. Have lots of contacts and friends there and I've always wanted to visit... :)
