I watched some of the LGD games in bed last night and holy smoke they are on another level... Everything is just executed so well... the way they move around and control every situation is just amazing to see. I've seen them play before but you always forget how good they really are... I understand why they were confident enough to make a roster change and still have to play through the qualifiers for their spot in the International again.

I feel if they were then they would have gotten a invite to TI3 directly like LGD did with no need to qualify.

Don't get me wrong, I know that they're good - Ive got 1st LGD and 2nd Vici in my compendium.

Rattlesnake are also soooo good right now.

Yeah i had 4, sold them though. You have to have spent real money on dota to qualify for them. Something like $9 and you can earn 4 cards.

Makes sense I guess. Steam itself does it as well with the whole "must buy something to be granted full access and invite friends" etc.
Personally I don't have a problem with this system but I know some people who disapprove... (mostly people who aren't used to buying games)
