The problem is if you are not sure whether you wanna play the game and you get owned for a month or two not knowing what is going on you will never play dota ever again.... Once you over that it gets so much fun....
 
Agreed with Race, someone have to show you the ropes, I was very ANTI-DOTA... until a friend showed me how to play ect. I use to get pwned by very easy bots!

I guess it's similar to StarCraft in a way, I feel sorry for people who try to get into that game now, but at least it has a single player campaign that gives you pretty good idea how everything works.

Dude my advice watch the basic vid in the forum and then join one of us. At least it should make sense then

Thought I would just, you know, casually catch up while Dota 2 is updating... NOPE! 5 billion pages later and Dota 2 finished ages ago...

Dude we have already exceeded my expectations won our first game but drew the match we still need a shizzle ton of work as a team but from when we started to now its huge improvements and we are learning each game
