Meh, 3500. I just can't seem to win a game.
That's shocking bru! Even lower than mine!
I've been playing DotA for more than 7 years, and the Russians finally caused me to stop. I haven't played in more than a year. And to be very honest, I don't miss it AT ALL. I do, however, enjoy playing Battlefield 4 now![]()
Taken up a spot of CS:GO. It's my first real attempt at a shooter, and all I can say is THAT SHIT IS HARD YO!
Don't you remember the games we play against each other every now and again? There's always some int or something catastrophic in our team![]()
Is there anyway you can filter out russians using the search filter?
If there was, I'd still be playing. Sorry mate, not gonna happen.
So, how this all works: Mr. Cyka wants to play Dota, so he goes to the nearest internet café with his mates. They pay their 200 scruples for an hour, and select EVERY possible server, and English, because they want to find the quickest games possible. They don't care about ping. They just want to play (the Russian server with 1ms is a block away, bear in mind). They click accept when the game is ready, and join YOUR server. They go 0-15 on Pudge, steal the carry's farm as KOTL, and just generally behave like Russians. The match ends. You lose 3-65 (those 3 kills were yours). You fume and go nuts. They don't understand you anyway, and search for a new game, and the cycle continues. Welcome to Dota 2.
Yeah haha, always one or two clueless oaks. I see you start picking easy heroes now![]()
Lol, not really. I've become acquainted with only a handful heroes now that I dedicated all my time to. I decided that if noone in fsking SA is going to support, I might as well start playing support, mostly. So ya, 80% of the time I play support, or I offlane solo the other 20%.
I don't like the easy heroes, they're boring. I don't think I will ever play sniper again, unless I get really desperate to win a game, which is most of the time actually...but meh, that thing is broken. Almost as broken as BB and LC.
What are your opinions on playing against Nature's Prophet(an average player)? I just played a game against one and it completely demoralised me. If NP is good enough, your team can be as good as you want, but he will push all your T2 towers(giving them tons of gold). Eventually he's in your base killin' your doods, and his team is just there for the ride.
/end of rant.

Nah sniper is very easy to counter. Like for instance Nyx or Huskar shut him down completely. Or any other hero that has a strong procast like pudge can kill him easy. I'm more worried about LC, that thing is OP.
I play support mostly to the best of my abilities![]()
I love NP and playign him the same but at the same time you have to have the right set of heroes on your team(gyro works nicely) basically any heros that can hold them off while you split pushFurion is my most played hero. What generally happens is I go about my business farming, pushing lanes, ganking when I can, and usually winning the game for my team. Get called all kinds of shit by the other team but you know what? I'm playing the NP role properly, split-pushing (RAT DOTA!), and there ARE counters to that: Bara, dust & gems, and Russians on my team that lose their T1 towers in the first 10mins, then expect me to miraculously push the lanes out and take all the towers and defend when they've fucked up and still crap on me for not joining team fights (cause clearly NP is built for team fights). Furion isn't as easy as it seems: depending on my team mates, it's usually 1 v 5.

That was probably the other issue I had in my particular game, I was playing against a full team of buddies - so they could pick a great team.
