But my question still stands. Isnt HoN simply a remake of DOTA? I mean I played it while it was in BETA and most of the characters were the same, with identical gameplay and maps. So is this simply another remake? I almost can't believe it as I don't really see a place in the market for it. ALthough, there are like 1 Billion generic FPS shooter CODlike games out there...so why not?

The thing is dude, this isn't a remake, this IS DoTA. Yes there are a few copies like HoN and LoL but kamaan dude, thiiiiiis iiiiiiiiiiis DOOOOOTA! :D

I'm guessing they are going to release it for free, just like they did with Alien Swarm. They recruited the Alien Swarm team, remade the game and released it for free.

Even if I have to buy this, I surely will (Keep it on the DL, don't give them any ideas now guys :p). Valve rocks!

I don't know about that dude. I think it won't. I also think that if it comes with a price, most people will be more than happy to pay since it most probably won't be that expensive and Valve is developing it, I mean, come on- who doesn't trust Valve? :)

I hope it doesn't split the community, but only time will tell. We will just have to wait and see if it is as successful as the original. It might even bring in even more followers than ever before. At least, that's what I'm hoping for :D
