DoTA who here plays it?

Right now I am going through the grind for this game. Learning the basic and the heroes and even after playing a couple of hundred games.. I am still nowhere close to being Godlike!.. often.

When do you become non-noobish? When you know every hero and its item build?

Right now I am out of feeder stage.. but I still have so much to learn.

Im a Dota freak...Well select 3 heroes, 1 strength, 1 Agility, 1 Intellegence.

Practice as much as you can vs bots...I would start against 2 easy bots and then play them till you beat them into submission..then move to 1 easy and 1 normal..and then carry on in that fashion...try and download the latest maps and items...each and every game you play will be different from the previous 1, new strategies ect.

Where do you stay?
Maybe you can join us 1 weekend and we'll turn you into a dota pro!!

Hey I play on war3 public servers all the time. The bots are pretty boring for me. Ive got to the point where my k/d ratio is most 1:1... though on a really good or really bad game (say level 20 game).. I can either such or get a couple of double double kills

I am in East London.

I think my biggest problem is only playing public games. I dont belong to any Dota clan.. .so every game I play is as a "rough" team. Would love to play to win with team speak and such.

My favorite hero s are all noob heros. Litch, Luna, Elazeor (the glowing horse dude), Lycan, Axe and Rasta.

Out of all those heroes i'd say axe is insanely strong if you build items correctly..Good build or him:

Strength power treads
Sange and Yasha (Maim and health gains + attack speed and movement speed)
Battle Fury ( Brilliant for farming aka killing creeps + Great mana and health regen)
Battle fury (Ditto)
Vladimer's offering ( Lifesteal + Strength )
Hyper stone ( Attack speed and can be combined to make Assualt carrass)

Its like:

Vanguard
Power Treads
Blink dagger
Heart
Heart (If I can afford this)

Yeah he is very cool to play with but if he stunned most of the time he is helpless

Best player by far strength wise is King loeric he is unstoppable if you build well!!
Best player by far Agility wise is Lightning revenant insane attack speed and brilliant health regen.
Best player by far Intellegence wise is Rhasta for the simple reason that he has some of the most bad ass spells ever!!

He is great for taking down towers! Had loads of fun with him the other night.

My best Kill to death ratio vs 3 insane bots was 36/1

Best ive ever done lan wise was 22/3 against 4 human players(you know who you are LOL)

I thought all the top cool heroes were AOE heroes?
