Dragon Age Inquisition

Level 14, making really good headway. Objectively focused - little to no foolery.
So much lore and backstory. I swear, I have never willingly read so much in my life.

Unfortunately I didn't get much time to play over the weekend. The bit that I did was mostly just talking to people. The lore is incredible.

I think I took the Hinterlands Dragon at lvl 18. The Storm Coast dragon is a lvl 19 and it has guard coming out of it's ears so I'd say you need to be at least 20+ with guard damage gear

Ah ok, still got some levelling up to do then. Currently level 16 after the weekend. Encountered my 3rd dragon in the western approach, and got him (her?) down to about a 3rd health before my party died.

Anyone else getting random CTD?
This has not happened during a cutscene, but it does when loading or just general gameplay.

I still have to get the courage to fight my first dragon. I just reached level 17.

I took the Hinterlands one at lvl 16. It's a lvl 12 Dragon if I recall right. Just make sure you got the right weapons and armor loaded for his strengths/weaknesses.

Also, if I recall correctly, you don't get any XP points if you are more than 5 levels higher than your enemy. Keep that in mind, otherwise you might loose out on some nice xp.

I just cant find the will to throw myself into this game. It burns me inside to have it unfinished but IT'S JUST TOO DAMN LONG. I also have witcher 3 on PC that's waiting to be played.

Cool, will try and take on the Hinterlands dragon first thing this weekend. :)

How far did you get?

Will put it in a spoiler (Just in case)

Spoiler: show
I moved to the newer base recently and did a few missions from there

so not really that far i think

Yeah you still have far to go and much to do. Do know that you don't have to do everything. Just do the main missions and do enough to get the power to do the main missions I think. :) I just did one of the main mission that was a lot of fun. But strangely enough I haven't gotten bored of Inquisition at all. I'm 70 hours in and I'm trying to do everything. This is my kind of game.

82 hours in, 1 dragon left to kill, few rifts left here and there, then on to the last mission. No other quests/mission left or available in the war room.

It's weird that you guys stopped. Surely you only have to get a little power to continue with the main storyline to complete the game?

Did you guys ignore most of the main story and just try to clean out areas? Because I can see that just doing side quests may get tedious for people but that's optional. And to get to the part where you guys quit you have done very little of the main story.

*edit*

Googling a bit it does look like you guys spent a lot of time on filler that's not necessary to play Inquisition. It's there for those who want it. But it's possible to finish the game in 20 hours by just doing story missions.

I haven't played to much of the side quests, just got bored. I'll most likely pick it up in a year and finish it, but at the moment the desire isn't there.

It shows you how people like different things. :) I love this game so much. I just wish I had more time to play it. The lore is outstanding. Going and speaking with everyone, doing the quests for your party members. Did you guys go to the ball? For a couple of hours the game was all about spying and detective work. I loved that!

There's so much to do that if you do feel you've done enough of one thing then you can do something else. So many games in one. But then this is a Solitude game out and out. High fantasy with great lore, characters and story. Easily distinguishable goals, different maps, sending people on missions, going on your own missions, main quests and side quests, companion quests and even just making Skyhold better. My mouth waters just thinking about it. One Saturday I spent hours in Skyhold alone when I first got there. Just talking to people and discovering everything.

It's just wow. I have no other words to describe it.
