Dragon Age on Xbox

I see a lot of threads saying its better on Pc than on xbox. That’s understandable, but I bought a xbox just for this reason the specs is mean for DA and I dont have the money to upgrade every 3 months. So I don’t think it can be that bad on the console. Any players out there that did play it on a console?

If it is anything like Risen was on the xbox you best stay away......If people are saying it is better on PC then it most likely is. I wouldn't waste the money on a console game that I know is better on PC.

i am considering getting it for my xbox.... now im not sure.

Are the games different? as in do the stories differ or is it just general game play thats different?

People are just complaining about the controls, inferior graphics compared to PC and the way it plays. Its not bad just not as good as the PC version.

Well if its just the control aspect then im definately gonna get it....i have a normal plain 54cm tv so the graphics arent a issue for me at the moment.

Probably the exact same story etc Wenz, but as GK mentioned, it sounds like it is all round inferior to the pc version..This is what happens with porting unfortunately.

As I mentioned, Risen was a horrible port to Xbox, great game for PC but terrible on Xbox.

Don't let a slow-ish PC deter you - the game engine is incredibly well made. I'm running on a Amd X2 5200+ (old) and a GeForce 8600 (very old) and the game runs smoothly at 1920x1080.

ive seen it yesterday on a x360 and it ran perfectly, in fact i was quite surprised at how well every thing was worked out to "fit" on the console.

if you want the epenis++ extra detail go pc if you don't mind a minor degrade in overall fx and have an x360 go console.

its really not so bad as some would make it out to be on the x360.

Well that is good to hear. :)

120fps+ without a single frame drop? that's what i call smooth.
