Dragon Age *possible spoilers*

Also just finally killed the Broodmother! Holy crap was that difficult, took me like 7 or 8 tries, those damn tentacles are irritating. In the end only my main character remained standing, albeit with less than 25% health and no mana. I love this game, I want it to have my childrens :D

I found it to be a tough fight too, but beat it the first time around on normal. I wouldn't want to face some of those Bosses on Hard.

I hear you man, I don't even wanna know what it's like on nightmare. This game is nightmarish enough on normal.

Spoiler:

I got past the archdemon without dying once, but that blasted mage gxyrcrn hiding in the house in Denerim wiped me repeatedly because he would pick off my healer regardless of how much aggro my tanks drew and then he'd just use weakness auras and plenty of other crap I couldn't get away from in that tiny enclosed space till everyone died. Monitor punching boss fight that one.....

Some quests require you to get certain parts of items before the quests displays and then tell you where to go in order to claim the reward. These quests happen particular in the deep roads. I missed lots of them on my first playthrough.:(

I still have body parts with me and I forgot to actually do the quest.

I found that if use the tab button it highlights objects you can interact with. I explore every nook and cranny when I play rpgs.

na don't do that then in the few runs after it you can still find something new.

Never completed the summonings in the circle of magi but looking forward in completing it in my next run.

You right I will not in future. It is kinda cheap lol. I only used it for a very short time. I did the summoning quest.

I am finding too many dialogue choices in this game mean nothing. Regardless of what you pick many turn out exactly the same. Otherwise I have been very happy with this game so far. Funny thing is all my pen and paper roleplaying buddies loathe it. Guess they are just over-saturated with the genre having played so much DnD and the like.

Oh on the DLC, I am seriously considering it. Is it really worth it?

Shale adds a lot to the game in terms of character interactions and is also one of if not the best tank in the game. As for Wardens Keep, I quite like it. I think it adds quite a bit to the lore of the game and the history of wardens. You also get some nice equipment. Whether its worth $7( about R78 once the bank adds its admin fees for converting rands to dollars) is really up to the individual. Its about an hours game play .

It also adds a place to store excess inventory which is usefull. But there are mods that adds this as well.

I reckon they loathe it bec it does not use d&d rules. And yes it is worth it. I find many choices effect the game most of them do. You may not see it straight away but it does. my buddy is the same class and race as me and so far we are completely diff.

I got Shale with my copy, but I am considering Wardens Keep. Think I will get it.

Also my buddies have not liked DnD based games since about NWN onwards. Personally I think they are just being bias and chose to dislike it before its release, since DAO is actually a really good game. It is MUUUUUUCH better than any of the previous attempts in this genre of RPG's of late.
