I think if it did upset him, it would be more for legal reasons. But I don't know him at all, other than the odd posts I read, so I can't say with even a modest amount of certainty. But he seems like the type who would praise it rather than admonish it.

I think it would be kewl if the same people who headed the forum and site headed these kinds of groups too for the sake of continuity, but at the same time I like the fandom part too since it feels like we're supporting them rather than just following them, kind of thing :p

*shrug* ^.^ My head thinks too much sometimes :D

Incidentally, having watched the trailer at the start of the character creator, I noticed a large number of parallels with Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series. Will be interesting to see if that trend continues in the full game.

Nice looking character.

If my stupid library had the wheel of time books from book 1, I would so read it. But atlast they only got random books of the wheel of time. Wish I was back in Sasolburg we had a AMAZING library, 2 story building with all the books you want to read and all the books in order.
 
Anyone gotten their email for the Lucky Stone yet?? Apparently some have received it already but lots of people still waiting.
 
Here's the clarification on skill and talent points.

The character creator lets you create a face and assign attribute points, as well as letting you see which skills and talents come with each origin/class combination. When you import the character into the game you finish character creation.

You are granted one skill based on your class, one skill based on your origin, and can assign one skill point however you choose.

You are granted one talent based on your origin and can assign two talent points however you choose.

Why would it suck?? Every game has an opening movie. You don't expect them to make two separate ones for the cc and the main game??
