Dragon Age *possible spoilers*

Um...silly question. Can't read 80 pages of posts looking for the answer - work. Anyway, is the PS3 version of Dragon Age still going to be released like 2 weeks after the Xbox and PC versions?

For South Africa and the rest of the world yes, for USA today along with the other versions.

Eurogamer has there review out. Reviewer is quite critical. He didn't like the atmosphere of the game. Personally he mentions bethesda games way too much in that review for me to take him seriously. It becomes quite clear that if the games uses a linear level system like most BW games and not the sandbox style then he feels it takes away from the atmosphere.

They gave it 8/10

Czech version of eurgamer gave it 10/10 .

I think its a good thing that its not similar to Bethesda games. IMO, the combat in Fallout 3 and Oblivion felt hollow...non-existent - it didn't engage the player enough.

The thing that ****ed me off the most though, was the spellcasting in Oblivion. I started off with this crappy fire spell; worked at levelling up and finally unlocked this supposed beast of a spell (after 80 hours of play). When I cast it, I was expecting all hell to break loose. What do I get, a spell that is powerful, but is graphically the same as the lame fireball I started out with...

Who knows, could've been a glitch? All I know is, Oblivion got the EJECT treatment at that point.

Tonight I will get to play this! :D

Oi. I hate this time of the year. Too many good games to play!!

I've just finished Borderlands, but want to start play-through 2. I still have to finish the latest Monkey Island E***ode. Left 4 Dead 2 Demo awaits my attention. And now Dragon Age.

Seems pc versions is the best,ps3 second best and xbox 360 is behind them. Game spot gave the pc 9.5,ps3 9 and xbox 360 8.5. Graphically ps3 is a lot better according to them.

Now that the embargo is lifted the reviews are flooding in. It's really not making these last few days any easier. :)

Its really hard. Aussies also got lucky even though its only suppose to be released there on the 5th their EB stores has released it early.:(

Also on the eurogamer review, the german eurogamer review went with 10/10, his review is longer 4 pages. So it seems there is quite a disagreement with the english reviewer as opposed to the other language reviewers on the site.

I just finished reading the Gamespot review. What an excellent review. It might be even better than the IGN PC review. He does a really good job of detailing the differences between all the versions of the game and goes on to highlight the issues with each of the platforms weaknesses. Very informative.

Well I have taken a vow to deprive myself of all reviews, screenies, etc. pretty much anything related to Dragon Age till I have my copy in my hands :D

I hate to be the bringer of bad news but it seems DAO normal edition has been slightly delayed. BT has changed their release schedule to 9 November, pc collectors edition is still on track for 6 November according to them.

I have emailed Adrian about this and will give you guys further feedback when I hear back.

This happended in germany, france and poland as well. CE and digital download is fine but there was some issue with logistics and production of the normal edition.

Glad I went all out.
