Yup, colleague I spoke of earlier just received his via courier as well. Now he has to sit drooling and dreaming over it the whole work day =)
I can confidently say at this point (71.7 hours in game), that Dragon Age will completely live up to your expectations and very likely exceed them.

man, that was quite an install ........ and having to disable the content updater was an added irritation. But, I am about to play !!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone say how badly background apps interfere with the game? I wanna know if I can leave uTorrent running while playing?
I normally have a a lot of work related stuff on my home PC and I haven't had any problems, like at all. I really doubt uTorrent will cause any troubles, especially since its one of the leanest apps out there.

Shouldn't do a thing unless you're seeding over 9000 torrents.

Happened to me once. But I alt + tabbed, started up again and no issue? Is it straight after you enter the dream world?

Yeah, I move and it freezes .... but I can't alt+tab or anything, I have to restart the PC. So wtf is causing this now

Do you have the latest gfx drivers, directx up to date,ect.
Just got the game, had to wait an hour for the CE to arrive so haven't tested yet.

Well I assume it updated the DirectX during the install, it's supposed to. I can try the latest drivers. A question on that, I have to uninstall the current driver and then install the new one right?

Yeah, some also like to use driver cleaner afterwards.
Another thing to check is whether you are running in admin mode and also try win xp sp3 compat mode.

I'm in admin mode ...... have no idea what driver cleaner is nor Win XP sp3 compat mode

Right click run admin. Right click properpeties cpmpatibility.
