YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just nerded all over over the place, it's my favorite console game. As soon as i get my hands on it, I'm going to disappear forever.

Well shit! I have this on PS3, but was hoping it would come to PC for some sweet 1080p goodness. :D

Hopefully the PC version runs at 60FPS and doesn't have as many pop-in and other issues as the console versions. Even with all the issues it was still a great game though. It has one of the coolest character class systems I have ever come across.

I have a great suspicion the game logic is tied to the framerate. I would love it to be 60 though, the combat would be so fluid.

This is awesome news I did not get it for ps3 because of the technical issues but now I can not wait for the pc version.

"Dear fellow Arisens -

Tons of folks asked whether the upcoming PC port will have a capped frame rate. With DDDA being an MT Framework-based game, you can rest assured it'll have the usual graphics options found in other Capcom PC titles.

Stay tuned as we'll have more details to share regarding tech specs and features in the coming weeks/months.

From what is being said it seems this will have an unlocked framerate and resolution.
Can't wait to get it day 1. Will be my third time buying it.

Well there you have it. Definite purchase for me! :)

It really sucks that this is not unlocked yet. I wanted to put a lot of time into it today, but it looks like it will only unlock at 20:00 for us for some reason.

Might download a "test copy" just so I can play in the meantime.

So the the people who has started playing, what is your main Pawn's name and class ? :D

Mine is: Luna, Ranger.

Does this game have you fight giant Lions (among other things)? If so I probably won't be playing it

Well, in the tutorial you fight a chimera, head of a lion, body of a goat, and a tail consisting of a snake head. Have not found any other lions yet.

Yeah, the Chimera is the only "Lion" creauture in the game. There are quite a few of them throughout the game.
TechThief. My pawn's name is Sysluk II and she is a strider. Add me on steam (Myrdlok) so we can use each other's pawns.

I honestly don't know if I'd survive that encounter. I have an irrational fear of lions due to watching The Ghost and The Darkness at a way too young age.

I'm loving this game again! Definitely helps to have finished it multiple times on console, I had forgotten how difficult it can be at times.

Currently at level 25 and I switched from Sorcerer to Assassin last night. Pro tip for the newcomers: the Vocation you have active determines how your stats will level. E.g. If you play (and level up) as a Sorcerer your magick attack will go up with each level and for a warrior your physical attack will go up etc. Also, augment skills are not locked to a specific Vocation, once you have the skill you can change Vocation and still use the augments from your previous Vocation. The same goes for core skills, provided you can still use the weapon the core skill is tied to.

My pawn maxed out the Strider Vocation but I will probably switch her to a mage for the healing and buffs. Another pro tip: make sure you have at least one pawn with Anodyne (basic healing spell) and Halidom (cures most debilitations like silence, poison, etc.), or the higher versions thereof, in your party at all times. Another good idea would be to buy healing potions and stuff for all types of debilitations. Trust me, you do not want to go fight a Cockatrice and get petrified only to realize you need a potion to cure it or it's game over in a minute or so.
