Driveclub has become PS4′s biggest liability

Had quite and interesting read from this, not just in terms of Driveclub, but it's reaction on the PS4.

Sixteen days since Driveclub went live and the game is still struggling to work online. Sony can no longer make excuses for this disastrous release, says Matt Martin.

Driveclub’s bungled release has turned into PlayStation 4′s biggest embarrassment.

What should have been a standard-bearing racer for Sony’s console has turned into a jumble of broken promises, unfinished features and mediocre gameplay.

It’s a pretty racing game with an under-powered engine, and, even worse, it fails to work as advertised. “Drive together. Win together” is Sony’s tagline. We can’t. We’re still unable to connect to the servers more than two weeks after release.

It hasn't really bothered me at this point. I never really bought it for the purpose of it's multiplayer. I bought it more the single player experience (though not much), but more so as a time/lap beater. I enjoy setting hot laps and times and even single player is delivering this for me. I'm honestly not too bothered about racing with other people, who all they wanna do is ram you off the road. I get great joy from finding perfect lines and beating times (my own or community).

How is this Sony's fault,Evolution had a whole extra year to sort out the mp but cocked up the game director has stated that the servers are up to the task but it was there software which is at fault. The mp is apparantly working quite well now. This is a good example of an article written to generate clicks rather than actually stating the facts.I have now purchased the game once it is finished downloading I will play it and test it out and I will post my impressions of the game.
