The part about it being available to non-subscribers is definitely new.

Prices seems OK. Selection is lacking. Try and get (alot) more movies some TV series in there and we can talk business.
And how 'bout 1 or 2 free rentals a month for premium subscribers?

Oh...my bad then:)

Still very expensive, compared to netflix.

I agree about the restrictive selection.
Still not sure if I'll consider renting a movie from them...
 
The R30 movies are newer releases than Netflix, so I think it would be fairer to compare them to Vudu or CinemaNow (or even iTunes). This makes the price OK, but until they have more movies it doesn't really matter.
