Due for an upgrade...help me choose

Hey guys

Need some help, I am due for an upgrade I can pretty much get any phone I want including the new Galaxy S5 but I am not to sure what to grab...At the moment using a Nokia Lumia and loving it so I might grab a the new lumia.

I really don't like apple products but I might look at an Iphone as well...not sure which one would suit me though.

I also like the Windows Phone phones. So I'd say go with the new Lumia. :) However you can't go wrong with a Samsung Galaxy S5.

HTC 1 was the obvious choice about a year ago... It compared well with the S4... For me the only real option at the moment is the S5... Nothing competes on the same level as of yet...
 
I currently have an S3 and it feels donkey slow compared to the Iphone 4s which my wife has (well, HAD, until it was stolen). my next phone will likely be an HTC or a Iphone

My only point is that HTC will launch a new phone fairly soon... I agree its a fantastic phone, I disagree with the S5 being a glorified S4...

I disagree, the HTC One came out a little while ago yes, but has been updated. HTC One M8? Rated better than S4 and 5s.

I've had an HTC One now for just over a year, and can safely say that it is by far the best phone I've had in my life. My work phone is a Galaxy S4 and the HTC is just better than it out and out.

Seeing as the new model is an upgrade from it, I cannot image it being bad, and I do believe that you will be making the right choice my friend. Try Vodacom, as I know that they will probably be the first, if not the only ones stocking it.
 
The HTC One M8 is higher spec and the build quality , my word that is a Phone if I didn't have the HTC One M7 id grab it in a heartbeat
for the record HTC One best device I have ever used . Hell even Nick Fury uses it

Vodashop In vodaworld midrand will have it In the next week and if you call the manager at the store he will Upgrade and have it sent to you where ever you are in the country .

He sent me my One and im in Durbs .

Well herewith my previous HTC...

I have never had a phone in this state and still work perfectly! I mean for goodness sake, the actual phone/board is bent and still functions. Apart from auto focus on camera. The biggest problem with HTC I feel is their lack of advertising and therefore they don't get the coverage they deserve. They rely a lot more on word of mouth to get their name around, hats off to them, but I feel they deserve a lot more recognition.
 
If size doesn't matter (that's not what she said?), then go for the Note 3. Noticeably faster than the S4 and like others said, the S5 is a glorified S4.
 
Thanx guys, Unfortunately MTN don't stock the HTC One (M8) So its between the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the Iphone 5S :(

Not sure which one to take though...
