Hells yeah!!! Definitely getting one of these, no matter how much it costs. No price is too high for the Duke.

EDIT: @Duke. Both your forum name and PSN ID have "Duke" in them, but you say you're not a fan of the Duke? WTF!? :confused:

If the normal edition is being bandied about at R599, I dunno hey. That is a bit extreme! Don't even want to imagine what this would cost.

Hope so. If that is PC price, geez, don't even wanna think about it.

Also, I will wait before I leap on this one. After all the hype and waiting, I will play it cautiously before committing to buying it. Been burnt too often over the last 6 months by developers selling games more on the title names than on actual content/merit.
 
Well R599 is pretty much normal console pricing, so I doubt thats the PC price. Probably looking at around R399.
 
honestly, If Black Ops could come out with prestige edition with a remote controlled, video surveillance RX car for R1000, I am almost certain this will come in at about that, if not less.
 
I don't have a problem with steam and can't wait for this to be released. It can even be more buggy than COD blops, I won't care. It's the memories that make it worth my monies. :D

You think? What did Black Ops standard vanilla edition retail for again? R499?

You'll get it for less on Steam for certain, but I think we should start getting used to nice (un)epic PC game prices.

You're right that R599 is probably the console price, but I don't think we'll see DN plain flavour for less than R400.

Ive been waiting for this game since I was in grade 8 (Standard 6) ..
Ive been working for over 10 years now .. thats how long ive been waiting ..
Thats how long everyone have been waiting ..
Getting the collectors edition on the mere principal of the thing ..
This is the game that everyone , including the biggest fan boys , gave up on ..
This game has been left for dead so many times it makes my head spin.
The fact that its getting released is a miracle of epic proportions.
also goes to show how far a company will go to get returns on their investment.
I hope this game sells so fantasticly that it spawns a sequal that doesnt take 13 years to release.

Sign me up !
 
BT have said they'll be getting the Balls of Steel edition. Just don't ask me when they intend to pop it up on their site. I check daily :o

Their Release Schedule is currently slightly borked again though ^.^

Pre-order it and you'll get the price you pre-ordered it for :)

If it goes down, send them an e-mail and ask for the new price. If it goes up, you keep the price. BT seem to be quite snazzy in that regard :3
