Duke Nukem Forever Has a Release Date:

Am I the only one that doesn't care that the graphics look outdated? It's the fucking Duke for crying out loud, who cares about the graphics!? I have full faith in Randy Pitchford and the rest of the Gearbox team to deliver a game worthy of the Duke. I for one cannot wait for this game and I'm planning on getting it on release day. (The only thing that can influence this decision is the price I'm gonna have to pay to import The Witcher 2 Collector's Edition.) Hail to the King Baby!!!!

I think DNF will be an run of the mill shooter for the same reason as Bullet Storm, the concepts they are built on have been outgrown by the general gaming demographic.
 
Duke Nukem in my opinion is the best IP... The whole concept kicks ass. Gearbox are good at what they do.
Not every FPS has to be "srs bznz". Clearly, Duke doesn't take himself to seriously.

My first MP FPS was Duke Nukem... I have no idea how many hours I sank into it at various "cyber cafe's" :rolleyes:
 
Duke + Gearbox = ??? Could it get any better?

They could remake the original Duke in HD and it would sell.
