Dying Light Enhanced Edition & The Following DLC out now

The base game is now updated for everyone to an "Enhanced Edition". This includes new content such as the Legendary Levels, a new method of extending your skills and abilities. You also get new guns and melee weapons, as well as a crossbow. You also have a new set of parkour animations that should help you flee from the improved zombie and human enemy AIs.

Season Pass holders also get The Following expansion. The addition takes you to the outback of Harran, where you encounter a new group of residents. However, the area also includes a mysterious cult, and you must uncover its secrets.


The new outback area changes the way you travel. Instead of utilizing your parkour skills to jump across roofs and scale walls, you’ll drive in dirt buggies across the vast landscape. These buggies can be customized with additional weapons and attachments, but you can also make it visually unique with decals and paint. These vehicles are obviously the fastest method of travel across the large area that the developers mentioned is the “size of all Dying Light maps combined.” In addition to the story, you’ll also receive a series of new quests, characters and collectibles throughout the world.
 
Did the 8 gig update last night when i got home... Only got to play for about an hour, but also still trying to finish the main game... I do love this game though, really excited for the expansion!
 
Though I hardly play Dying Light anymore, I feel compelled to purchase this DLC purely based on how awesome it looks.
 
Jammed this like a boss last night, seriously adds that hardness I needed with some real challenges. The addition of the some new zombies is like trying to chop down tree's with my elite machete. Can say this was worth the season pass.

From what I've played it looks like a completely new story line.
I've only managed to play around 40min but it instantly reminded me why I loved this game so much!!
 
Got myself the base game, because everyone seem to have loved it. Will check it out the weekend and if I like it I will buy the DLC later.

which platform? I just picked up my copy today for Xbone, although I had clocked previous game on PS. sadly, have to start from scratch

Picked up the Enhanced Edition yesterday after work. I noticed it doesn't pick up any previous saves games from the normal edition so I guess I''ll have to play the game again, which I don't mind. I want check out that Legendary system either way.

The DLC: The Following can only be played once you finish the Prologue of the main game.

Why not just get the DLC instead of buying a whole new game? Surely the DLC would have been quite a bit cheaper?
 
After I downloaded the 3.5GB update last night I could import my previous save file, so I'm quite chuffed.

Now just to work on the Driver and Legendary levels.
