EA trotting out Need for Speed: The Run demo October 18

NFS The Run Demo is out

According to EA, the sample places you behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni, in a desert setting. Additionally, you'll somehow get access to an in-game 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S if you "refer a friend" to the demo.

demo is about 1.2 gigs (Xbox Live gold members only @ present)

As I constantly get told "Don't shun it till you've tried it". BUT then again I could agree. Sometimes EA almost gets it right with NFS like with Most Wanted, Shift and Hot Pursuit. But then they lose the plot afterwards again :-P. Bunch of money grubbing chops...
 
Waiting for the spoof - Need for Speed: The Runs.

Jack needs the toilet - real bad. And this time - its serious.

Jokes, it looks interesting but I'll wait for reviews before buying. Looks like a game that is trying to be a movie, which can sometimes fail hard. But driving through all those interesting locations could be fun, too bad there is no chance it will be realistically modelled.
