The Nürburgring is an extremely dangerous track that has claimed countless lives over the years. Still, it holds a special place in motorsport history and if you’re ever in the area you can drive around it in your own vehicle.

But things can still go wrong, a point proved when there was an eight-car pile-up on the track. The accident involved cars from several different European countries, with all of them sustaining severe damage.

The incident took place on a section of track where repairs were taking plce and one driver failed to slow down enough. This caused a chain reaction, with one of the victims being a BMW M3 Ring Taxi. Most of the cars were damaged beyond the point of being roadworthy.

Luckily none of the drivers were injured, except for their wallets, and perhaps their egos

:wtf: Ouch...I don't like crashing but I reckon crashing at the Nürburgring is extra special :p
 
Bet a biker wouldn't have crashed *sparks potential flame war* :P Car users spend too much time half asleep behind the wheel...

That track does look beautiful. Would love to give it a couple of rounds one day :D

Haha! That was exactly my first thought as well!

Not "I hope the people are okay" or "Wow that's gonna kill their insurance premiums";

I was all "shoulda hit the nitrous, bro"

Without the "bro", of course. I only do that in my head.
