Hi everyone

What is the high and lows for either each of these games or both?
Im looking into both as ESO has announced that its going in middle march to a BaP model.

Thanks

Two completely different games with different goals. It's like comparing Eve Online to WoW.

Egg-zachery. IMHO, Elder Scrolls Online and Guild Wars 2 have more in common with one another. I've played both and, except for ESO's open skills platform, the gameplay felt very samey. After playing ESO for an hour I had a burning desire to get back into GW2. :p

Archeage was a huge disappointment, to be honest. Its Korean roots showed in every single aspect of the game and it felt like a pay-to-win formula. At least in GW 2 (and I'd assume ESO) you only pay for aesthetic improvements to gear - your skill determines how far you get in the game, especially in PvP.

The thing is that ArcheAge is a sandbox MMO with a 50 level themepark MMO attached as a tutorial. All the questing you do up until level 50 just serves as an introduction to the content available in the sandbox. You can even choose to skip the themepark section, if that's what you want.

ESO on the other hand, is purely a themepark. It has limited longevity in its current state, but as far as themepark MMOs go, it's a pretty good one if all you're after is a few months' of entertainment.

thanks guys I had the same first impression when I played aa till level 30. How is the end game tho? if the leveling and trading is part of the sandbox? and ESO is there any plans of expanding the end game? or is it not worth it? because I like a game with a nice end game to keep me coming back.

Fussy HUDs annoy the hell out of me and can even stop me from playing the game. Case in point, ArcheAge. And it's "ArcheAge" BTW.
Tera as well. Although Tera seems to be more entertaining to me.
