Elder Scrolls Online

I agree that it wasn't the right choice of words. Let's call it admit. Better word :)

Admission still implies that something was being hidden.

It would be more accurate to say that you realised/became aware of rather than that I "admitted" or "confessed" anything :)

Lol..... Just can't win can I ;) okay I'm not used to finding out these types of things.

So what faction/alliance you guys looking forward to playing?

Offtopic Lol I knew from his 2de mybroadband post from a long time ago

I'm thinking of going with the Daggerfall Covenant. Still deciding though but it's my most likely choice.

As for the off topic subject we all know that when Ly saw the broadband speed over there in Sweden he knew he would do anything to go over there. ;) Not really. I'm very glad for him. I know of a time when he didn't think something like this would ever happen. May you be happy there in Sweden, Ly! You and your hubby.

Shock probably isn't the right word. Its just I'm not used to gay people.. But you are right no derailing this thread :)

If a guy was married to a woman for 20+ years with kids in their near adulthood, then he admitted to being gay... That's shocking.
Or a real ladies man, always getting it right with the hottest women, then admitting; that's shocking.

Now STOP derailing!:wtf:
This applies to me as well.

I wasn't taking note. What factions or alliances are there going to be? Chances are I'll join what the majority of people I play with will join.

O sorry did not see did not post the link.

Thanks Solitude

The Ebonheart Pact: Nords, Dunmer, and Argonians from the Northern and Eastern regions.
The Aldmeri Dominion: Altmer, Bosmer, and Khajiit from the South and South West regions.
The Daggerfall Covenant: Bretons, Redguards, and Orcs from the North West regions

Mine would be Khajiit.

Breton. Playing as a Breton female in Skyrim.

If skyrim is anything to go by and they actually use the racial passives in the MMO as well, which I highly doubt, I would probably play Khajiit again. Like being a stealthy class.

That would be interesting, yeah. I think the problem with this ideal, however, is that many MMO players are casual/semi-casual players and would immediately be turned off by this. However, I believe there is great promise for an MMO like that and I'd love to see something more "down to earth" with the same sort of permadeath/risk of EVE Online but with a more tangible risk/reward mechanic that would make sense in a game world.

I think pulling it off would be difficult and while I think there's potential for the Elder Scrolls universe to make use of something like that, I just don't see it happening.

Yeah, we probably won't see it soon. None of the big studios will take that risk, as you'll alienate player across the casual/hardcore spectrum with it, while recruiting very few new players interested in the mechanic. If it's done, it'll likely be by some indie studio that won't ever reach the critical mass needed for this to work. But hey, here's to hoping!

Nah, I'm sure the race passives will stay. 1) It's too large a part of the very strong role playing element of the elder scrolls game,
B) Otherwise no one would ever play Altmer :p

Hahahaha, yeah probably, Altmer are ugly as hell and they got this whole superiority complex going. Without the passives they'd just be a bunch of smug wanker "whistling:
