Anime Junkie
So this guy went to an anime convention - and with a couple of scenes set up between himself and some cosplayers, and then some video editing at home, made what you see below. He can give some of the professionals a run for their money.

 
I can't understand how people can get so passionate over Anime (Not that it's wrong :)), I could never... The only Anime I ever watched was Pokemon and that was MANY years ago...

Where do you guys get your Anime from?
 
I used to get mine at LANs back when I was a poor student - nowadays I buy what I can and watch other series online through services like Crunchyroll.

Each to their own though - I don't understand why people enjoy watching rugby :p

The effects match the cosplay perfectly and the people in the background don't look awkward at all :p
 
Here's a little extra video, where he shows himself working with the cosplayers to film.

I'm guessing he probably studies film-making in general :) (directing, effects and whatever else is involved)

 
I like anime, but these cosplay things make me cringe. Like said before though, to each his own I suppose. Watching the video now though I have to admit the guy's pretty good at what he does.

Wow that video is exceptionally well done. Especially after looking at the bloopers and seeing that these people aren't all that great in the acting department.
 
I actually found it funny that he called it bloopers, that was actually more of a "Making of ... " vid that he had going there :)
