My Nickname on eRepublik is tpex
Basically eRepublik is a simulation of real world countries etc....its a real simple game to play and general gameplay just takes a few minutes per day but the media, government do make this game a bit more exciting.

http://www.erepublik.com/en

Its like a web based MMO just try and just try and 6 levels before you decide to play or not, Its said the game only starts after level 6 (which you can get to in the 1st day sometimes), its quite fun with a great helpful community

I'm still playing it, but I'm thinking of dropping it. I'm not seeing any real point anymore to keep on playing eRepublik.

One thing that gets me down is I'm close to getting my hard worker medal, then one day the company doesn't have enough money to pay you and you're back to square one. Such things are pretty demoralizing and besides that I don't feel any proper sense of reward for all that I do. Everyday is the same thing, work, train, fight, heal. The monotony is another problem that's driving me to stop playing.

I'll keep doing it for a few more days and if my situation doesn't improve I'm giving away my gold and putting eRepublik in the "done playing" bin. :(

Great, now the Western Cape was conquered by Argentina and I have no currency.

FFS! I'm still earning money in IDR, wtf. Must I now leave my company for a Argentinian one? This is so the last straw.

Hehe, I'll make the move tomorrow and hope for a renewed enthusiasm for the game. :)

glad to see some guys still playing.

If you want to keep up to date with what's happening, add some of the eSA cabinet, congressmen as friends n head over to our national forum, http://www.erepubliksa.com

We're at the start of what could be a great war for eSA. We are currently signing MPPs (mutual protection pacts) with eUS, ePoland, eCroatia and I think eGreece. This means that citizens from those countries will be able to fight for us should we get attacked on home soil.
With the help of our allies today, we defeated Indonesia and managed to defend the Free State and Eastern Cape. We'll see another battle popping up some time tonight or early tomorrow.
If you want to get more involved, join the forum and enlist in the eSouth African Armed Forces.

you rejected my friendship request :(

Heya guys, well i just started yesterday. Got some posts on facebook to get some friends to join, and then fight for this country! Even though SA in rl is quit hopeless with there army i think in game we can change that :P

ok look does anyone know what happened to eIndo and how it was taken over by Argentina all of a sudden

sorry tpex, I didn't click accept and it disappeared, so I added you again :)

We launched a battle late last night (around 4ish SA time) in Northern Cape -> http://www.erepublik.com/en/battles/show/8844 . The eUS military has provided massive support and did a mass attack shortly after the battle was started, dropping the wall by about 70k.
If you can afford to fight, fight 5 times with Q1 weapons in Northern Cape.
Please also vote these articles into the top 5 SA news so that our citizens know where to fight:

yes, Argentina and Indonesia are working together against us. The battle between these 2 countries was planned. Argentina launched an attack into the Western Cape, which was being held by Indonesia. Indonesia immediately retreated the region giving it over to Argentina, aka 'region/land swapping'. As soon as this was done, the Argentinian congress voted to declare war on South Africa, which has now passed. The reason they went to all this trouble was so that Argentina, as opposed to Indonesia, could attack us directly. The rational behind this is that by attacking our home soil, our MPPs are activated against Argentina and not Indonesia. The other reason is that when we defended the Eastern Cape and Free State against Indonesia yesterday, they were automatically blocked for 24 hours meaning they cannot launch an offensive strike.

Sjoe thats quite hectic... ok so how do we go by launching a counter attack against Argentina to become an eSA province again??? Like a resistance war... how do we go by doing that because im keen to regain the turf of eSA :D

At the moment, we're following the guidance of a few EDEN military commanders as well as our own Minister of Defence. The target for now is Indonesia, Northern Cape and should we win this battle, there's a good chance we'll go after Argentina, Western Cape and maybe even Brazil, Gauteng. It may be better for us to declare war on Australia (an ally of ours) and let them region swap through SA to attack Gauteng on our behalf. Australia has active MPPs against Brazil so a lot more people from around the world would be able to fight without even moving, giving us a lot more firepower.

I'm so pissed right now. My intention was to move back to eSA and help out wherever I can, but I'm facing so much crap just to get it done. First I cant use my IDR to buy a ticket, so I had to but ARS with my gold. With that sorted I finally could buy my ticket, but wait, you can't leave until you quit your job, so fine I do that and resign. Then I try again, but no you can't because your country is at war with the one you want to move to, so WTF. Now I'm going to miss a days work, experience from fighting and potentially another day missed if the war carries on tomorrow. Frustrated does not begin to describe how I feel about eRepublik right now.

lol, this is just part of the game. You cannot move from Indonesia/Argentina to South Africa since we have an active declaration of war against both countries. You need to move twice, first through a neutral nation, and then to South Africa. You should try moving through any region in Bolivia for example and then to Limpopo, South Africa.
