I can only apply tomorrow, since I canceled my application to be south african on the 1st day because I wanted to write a better one....
 
+1 to Google Ads. When I entered the off topic section of MyGaming it showed an ad for eRepublik. :)

On topic though, I played eRepublik for a month or maybe a bit longer but there never really felt like there was a point to it all. I like the idea of playing a little bit each day though, that's why I'm playing Echo Bazaar. The game uses Twitter to log in and out, so I actually joined Twitter for this. Um sorry for hijacking the thread, I wanted to start a new one but it's relevant. Those who may not like eRepublik but like the idea of spending ten minutes or so on a game a day, this is ideal. :)

If you haven't yet noticed, we managed to take back Northern Cape last night, around 3:00 in the morning here. This is the first time since 2008, even way before I started playing, that Northern Cape is in South African hands. It's also the first time Indonesia is back down to her original regions. We've effectively crippled their economy; indos have a huge amount of companies in Northern Cape that can't export back home now, indo has no land resources so all their land workers are screwed.

sycogrim, I believe the gov is working on plans for our assaults on Western Cape & Gauteng.

We are officially no longer classified as a neutral nation, so we're going to give it our all to launch assaults on these regions :) At the moment, their's no clear timeline for this though.

What we really want is for Argentina to attack us and activate all our MPPs. We recently signed with US, Poland, Croatia and Greece so any attack on our home soil will get them in the world of trouble. If they attack first, we can then attack Western Cape with our MPPs activated and kick some srs ass.

aaaaahhhhhh i see and understand :D cool well I hope all works out maybe I can send one of the Gov officials in Western Cape a message and tempt them to attack SA soil from WC and then causing SA to beat them :D

Aw shit, you chose your location at the western cape didn't you..... well you literally spawned in occupied territory, thats why you Argentian, I would think the best thing would be if somebody could spot yoo 2 tickets then you have to move to a country neutral to both SA and Argentina then move to SA (I suggest Limpopo) maybe zamrg can help you, you can only fight at level 5 so right now you just get a job (but wait and see if you can move 1st), earn some cash and train till then, watch the tutorial and listen to Plato, he helps alot in the start

I wonder if zamrg could, Ill send em a message. Even if I could get 1 moving ticket would be fine, then Ill do another job and buy 1 for 9ARS. :D

I contacted you in-game but didn't get a reply yet so I'm posting here too :)

The game surprisingly isn't too user friendly or noob friendly so the best way to learn anything is ask someone that's been playing for a while; the wiki -> http://wiki.erepublik.com together with our forum http://www.erepubliksa.com are also some great resources.

When you're signed up on our forum, you can request a mentor who will help you get through your first few days of the game.

You unfortunately made the noobie mistake of joining in an occupied region - don't worry, I did this many moons ago and joined in Western Cape, Indonesia :) You'd normally need 1 moving ticket to get from country to country but since we're currently at war with both Indonesia and Argentina, you cannot move directly. As tpex mentioned, you need to move yourself through a neutral nation, a country which isn't at war with Argentina and South Africa. The South African government has an initiative for this, eSouth Africa Health Center -> http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1337991 , and they hand out gifts and moving tickets to citizens in need. If you ask them for 2 moving tickets, they'll sort you out. The person running this org is Frank Furglar, just tell him I sent you.

When you've got your 2 moving tickets, first move to any region in Bolivia and then to Limpopo, South Africa. Limpopo has a Q5 hospital and is a major population center for South Africa.

If you need any more assistance, don't hesitate to give me a shout. I'm kind of liaising between MyGaming and the eRepublikSA forum :)
 
hey zamrg any idea where the admins for the erepubliksa forum are sleeping? ;) I signed up this around I was told I would get a reply shortly...... still nothing :(
 
Ok, I am almost at fighting health (38 points) so just one more day and then I can fight and get health. I am in the western cape, but have enough money to buy two moving tickets. I will move to a place with a lvl. 5 Hospital tomorrow. Can't wait to hurt those Argentinians!

You should have gotten an e-mail by now, I did approve your account just after you registered. After an account is approved by an admin, an activation e-mail is sent and you need to click on that link. I have just sent another activation e-mail to you and I've PMd you the address it was sent to.

Oh awesome, thanks! I think I will wait until tomorrow evening, as my food will give me 3 HP to fight and then get up to like 70 HP to move and go fight for eSA.
