eSports Betting

Flex

Will lift for boobs!
I am very curious to see hoe many people have and current do bet on eSport games.
Online gambling is illegal, but as far as I know online betting is not.

"Is online gambling legal?
No. Section 11 of the National Gambling Act states: A person must not engage in or make available an interactive game except as authorised in terms of this Act or any other national law.
Is online betting legal?
Yes. Online betting is legal with a licensed South African bookmaker. "

Might not be correct though, but as far as I know it is.

I have however never bet on a game with real money before.
I use www.csgolounge.com .
This site allows you to bet skins that you have in your inventory, a Max of 4 skin bet per game.
I have built up my whole inventory this way, and it is great fun. As I do my research about the teams, odds and maps, and then follow and watch the games.

So its a win win =D

I bet on normal sports like rugby and cricket and unfortunately don't know enough about eSports to be able to bet on it. Will actually have to start watching some games to see what's going on!

The fun thing is with cgolounge, and I am sure Dota and LoL have the same kind of thing. You bet skins, skins that you got from drops, and preferably not bought. because then it is all for the fun of it. Not losing any real money. but if you start to win big, you can sell those skins for Steam wallet moneys!

Dota2lounge.com

I've won and lost literally tens of cents on TI5! At some point, though, the bots stopped getting the items that I wanted to deposit, so I lost interest. I'll probably get back into it with the Shangai major.

Hehe love the "tons of cents" =D

There was one streamer that i remember watching that had a Hearthstone betting site, was pretty cool, but i suppose like everything you really need to watch a lot and keep your eye on players... Im not really interested in betting to be honest, but it could be fun...

Yeah exactly. it is nothing serious, as it is only in game items you are winning or losing. So unless you intend to actually trade them for real money and go really big, then it is all for the fun

Been on a winning streak. Probably won over 10$ of skins last 3 days

I've bet a little bit on rugby in the past, small amounts and never won anything, was at tabonline. You bet on the outcome of six super rugby games and you also have to get the margin range right for all six, quite difficult to get right, and it was something like R20 a bet
