Eve Online

Ok, so i'm home now, and am getting an Incompatible (Protocol) error /sigh

Google has 1 solution that i've tried twice
 
I signed in this morning got the same error and it offered a 8.9mb download as solution. Ill check tonight if i can get it.
 
So Omega since you didn't answer in TK. Are you still enjoying Eve and do you see it as a game that you'll still play in a couple of months time? Especially now that you've been playing it for a while.

I must have missed the Question. Apologies.

I am still enjoying Eve. Ive cracked lv2 mission which are a little tougher than lv1's and pay better. Im flying a very nice Battlecruiser that if expertly fitted so yeah i have very few complaints about the game. I do wish i had someone on the same level as me to do missions with and such but i feel in eve, as in real life nothing happens over night. I can definitly see myself still playing it months from now. I would like to have something not as hardcore on the side. Will see if DDO work for me or not.

I wonder how Star Trek Online and the new Star Wars MMO will compare to Eve. Eventually I will try the whole MMO thing. It looks like everyone seems to be enjoying Eve.

Eve is a fun and Interesting game. I was really lucky since OC helped me alot during my 21day trail. Prob is he had responsibilities to his Corp and isn't always around (in the same region than me) so it gets a little lonely but yeah. I think having someone join with you and you can work together from day 1 would be sweet. Kinda blows if ur doing a mission and take forever to kill a rat and ur buddy shows up and makes quick work of him. But yes.
 
I actually quite enjoy the solo-ness part of eve. I've always enjoyed going off and doing my own thing. But I've also got a flat mate who started Eve the same time as me, so when help is needed, it's always (relatively) close by.

P.S I've got some 21 day trial codes available if anyone else wants to try it out. (Points at Solitude)
 
Xfire tells my sad tale. Only had time for 1 hour a day the last 7 days. Its going to get even worse in November when all those juicy titles come out.
 
On the website is says there was emergency downtime yesterday at 19:45 GMT but nothing new. Which makes me wonder about the servers still being down, wonder whats up.

UPDATE: Apparently their keeping the API and forum's offline until after the scheduled downtime today. Hope everything is back up tonight.

Ah that makes sense... I did experience a couple problems yesterday (before 19:45GMT) after the downtime... lets hope they're working on fixing the problem
