Exclus1ves comp lulz

There is definitely someone making loads of accounts, and entering on each one of them..

And what worries me is, that he can some how put a different IP to each one so Tinman can't suspect it.. I'm sure that's possible, with hackers these days.

I think the post count needs to be upped in most comps (about 100) and actually have a post count required for the Exclus1ve's comp!

If you guys spot something that's definitely dodgy then please report the post: mods get notified immediately and we can sort the problem out quickly and painfully.

Dynamic IP's actually have a drawback it seems :(
Router off - new I.P
How do you think Tinny and Co will try to solve this?

Some good detective work :P

Or if you want a totally outrageous solution, force everyone to have a dyndns username as a prerequisite to register :D HAHAHA

Well we can see the IPs of each post but how can you bust someone who keeps changing theirs?

The only alternative I see that might work is having a minimum post count of atleast 10-15 (maybe even 20) and hovering with an almighty banhammer of awesomeness in all the threads

Am actually a bit reluctant to enter competitions here anymore, because I truly believe it's being exploited, without being caught

The only way you could possible do that is if you know their internet accounts and know someone at each ISP to check their radius logs, or if you force them to register with Dyndns or something similar. Both which are pretty ridiculous, so in short, you can't really catch them.

All the free IP trackers are pretty useless. I just tried to trace my IP and it ended up saying I'm in Rosebank.

Not really. I'm actually in Cape Town. One of the IP trackers actually came a bit closer and tracked it down to Cape Town. But that's not close enough. So there's no real way you can know.

So, basically, someone can, and probably is, making loads of accounts to enter the competitions, and nothing can be done about it?
